On November 9th,it was reported from Hebei Meishen Technology Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Meishen Technology)that the high magnetic orientation silicon steel magnesium oxide phase II project equipment constructed by Meishen Technology in the Guangzong County Industrial Park production base in Xingtai has fully met the design requirements after half a month of trial production.The product has a magnesium oxide content of over 99%,low impurity content,and high viscosity.

Wang Jianhua,President of the China Association for the Promotion of Industry University Research Cooperation,stated at the project launch ceremony that the project marks the official mass production of the world's largest magnesium oxide project specifically for oriented silicon steel,breaking the foreign monopoly and entering the world's leading ranks.

According to Sun Wen,Chairman of Meishen Technology,the project was completed and tested in mid to late October.During the production process,magnesium oxide,as a high-temperature annealing barrier for oriented silicon steel sheets,plays an irreplaceable and significant role in the production and quality of oriented silicon steel.With the successive production of enterprises such as Wuhan Iron and Steel,Baosteel,Ansteel,and Taiyuan Iron and Steel,the demand for specialized magnesium oxide for oriented silicon steel in the domestic market has increased sharply.However,previously,specialized magnesium oxide for oriented silicon steel could only be supplied by foreign enterprises,and there is an urgent need for domestic magnesium oxide to replace it.

Bai Xuemei,R&D Director of Meishen Technology,introduced that the production line of this project adopts the first domestically developed automated production equipment,and all processes from feeding to packaging and warehousing are automatically controlled.The double-layer six column electric heating roller kiln is unique worldwide,capable of accurately controlling the calcination temperature within±2℃at high temperatures of thousands of degrees Celsius,ensuring high purity and stability of the products and meeting the high-end applications of oriented silicon steel.At present,the annual production capacity of the project's production line is 3500 tons,and the current annual production capacity has exceeded 5000 tons.By 2027,the production capacity will exceed 15000 tons.

It is reported that Meishen Technology focuses on the deep cultivation and application research and development of the magnesium oxide industry.After 21 years of unremitting efforts,it has gradually transformed and upgraded from traditional magnesium oxide products to high-end and refined products,becoming a leader in China's magnesium salt industry.
