As a typical device of centrifugal force and gravity compound force field, it is widely used in many fields because of its simple structure, small footprint, easy installation and operation, and low operating cost.

The basic principle of the cyclone is to separate the liquid-liquid, liquid-solid, liquid-gas and other two-phase or multiphase mixtures with a certain density difference under the action of centrifugal force. The mixed liquid is tangentially entered into the cyclone at a certain pressure to generate a high-speed rotating flow field in the cylindrical cavity. Under the action of the swirl flow field, the dense components of the mixture move axially down, radially out, and move down the wall at the cone section and exit through the bottom flow port, thus forming an outer vortex flow field. The components with low density move in the direction of the central axis, and form an upward movement in the center of the axis, and then discharged by the overflow port, so as to achieve the purpose of separation of the two phases.
