The unique advantages of additive manufacturing technology have brought new opportunities to the complex structure forming of the difficult-to-weld material IN738LC high temperature alloy. Opportunities. At present, domestic research institutes have carried out a lot of work. As shown in Figure 8, the Shenzhen University team used selective laser melting to melt IN738LC material to prepare 45mm high aircraft engine turbine blades. The left side of Figure 8 shows the formed parts, and the right side of Figure 8 shows the cross-section of the parts. It can be seen that the internal structure of the parts is very complex, the sample forming performance is very good, and the surface gloss is also very high. The traditional process requires a long cycle, while the selective laser melting technology only takes 4 hours, which greatly shortens the manufacturing time and improves production efficiency. At the same time, it also proves the feasibility of preparing fully dense, crack-free, high-performance IN738LC alloy parts by selective laser melting.
